A division of the National Park Service, The Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore is dedicated to the preservation of this specific portion of Michigan and our special resources.

Leelanau Conservancy

A nonprofit organization established in 1988 to support, in a balanced manner, the preservation of the natural beauty and historic culture of the Leelanau Peninsula.

Fishtown Preservation Society

A non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the historical and fishing heritage of Fishtown, located in Leland.
